Our Gemini project is located on freehold land about six kilometres west of Dingo township and 120 kilometres west southwest from Rockhampton in Central Queensland.

ABOUT GEMINI PROJECT

Gemini is a relatively smaller-scale resource project that will mine an essential raw material, metallurgical coal, used in the production of iron and steel.

We anticipate a 25-year project lifespan from the granting of the lease with a yield of up to 1.9 million run-of-mine (ROM) tonnes per annum (MTPA) - averaging 1.8 MTPA over 20 years.

Our plan is to develop two areas successively (A and B). Having secured a Mining Lease and an Environmental Authority, Magnetic South has begun early-stage clearing of Area A , with construction and operations to begin in due course.

Our plan is to progressively develop the mine through a staged ramp-up of operations, with initial enabling works being undertaken in coming months.

Visually, the Gemini Project site will not be readily seen from the Capricorn Highway, with only the train loadout facility visible on the north side of the highway.

“We export metallurgical coal to the iron & steel industry.”
