COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY
We are committed to supporting the Dingo community and surrounding district. While we are in the pre-construction phase of our projects, we have established a Community Benefit Fund providing grants for community groups, not-for-profits and charities across the district.
We have partnered with the likes of Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) and in 2024 delivered a pilot project called the Magnetic South Highway Schools Program, providing STEM workshops for students at Dingo, Duaringa and Bluff State Schools.
In addition, Magnetic South also provided workshops partnering with IMA (Institute of Modern Art - Queensland) and IAIM - (Indigenous Australians in Mining) engaging with the students about Indigenous History and hands-on Art projects.
Once operational, our projects will provide millions of dollars in taxes and royalties to fund regional infrastructure and services. Outside of the Community Benefit Fund Magnetic South has made every effort to also sponsor and support many local events and causes throughout 2023 and 2024 and will continue to do so in the future.
COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND
Our Community Benefit Fund assists not-for-profit organisations, schools, sporting, cultural and community groups with initiatives and events in Dingo and the surrounding district.
